You'll need a 2:1 degree or equivalent international qualification.

Course structure
Semester 1
You’ll develop your understanding of fashion and examine ideas, innovations and debates in contemporary fashion management relevant to:
- consumer behaviours
- sustainable fashion
- circular materials
- fashion products
- supply chain management
You’ll collaborate with a fashion trend company to enhance your digital skills and develop new insights to address challenges in the fashion industry.
Semester 2
You’ll build on your skills to confidently and professionally discuss and apply solutions to problems. This involves delving into topics like fashion retail, merchandising, brand management and marketing strategies. You’ll experiment with different approaches, expand your expertise outside of your focus area and develop creative and sustainable long-term strategies.
You’ll look at a range of research methodologies, methods, and techniques to cover aspects such as:
- problem definition
- methodological justification
- ethical considerations
- analysis
- reporting findings
Semester 3
You will focus on specific contemporary fashion management issues and carry out in-depth research for your final project.

Dissertation
As part of this fashion management course, you’ll need to make a project plan and conduct detailed research to create a 10,000-word final project. The focus of the project is a contemporary fashion issue of your choice, linked to your career aims.
The modules in semester 1 and 2 will give you with the skills to complete this. You’ll also be allocated a supervisor who will provide you with support and guidance.

You’ll have one-to-one tutorials with your personal academic tutor, who can advise on any questions relating to your studies. You’ll also be able to access a wide range of University learning and welfare services.

Tuition fees
Fees for a year's study:
- UK students pay ?9,250.
- EU and international students pay ?27,800.
Deposit
If you're an international student on a full-time course, we'll ask you to pay ?2,000 of your tuition fees in advance, as a deposit.

This scholarship is available to all eligible UK and international Winchester School of Art graduates who go directly from an undergraduate to a master's degree within the school. You will get either ?1500, ?2,500 or ?3,000 depending on the grade you get for your undergraduate degree.
