Jennifer is a second-year PhD student in Psychology at the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载, specialising in trauma research. Her doctoral work focuses on intergenerational trauma and mental health in Arab families, including refugees and asylum seekers.
She is particularly interested in clinical training and research that addresses trauma across family systems. Jennifer’s passion lies in improving mental health for families, adults, young people, and children in the community. She is committed to working alongside experts by experience to co-produce culturally appropriate psychological assessments and interventions. Her overarching goal is to raise the voices of underserved communities, enabling them to inform services, systems, practice, and policy.
Alongside her PhD, Jennifer works part-time as a Research Assistant contributing to a range of research projects at the Centre for Homelessness Research and Practice (CHRP) in the School of Psychology.
