We provide a large format printing service for student, academic and research posters.

Standard academic poster sizes are: A0 (841x1189mm), A1 (594x841mm) and A2 (420x594mm), but they can be produced to any size up to 1250mm wide and as long as 15 metres.

Posters are printed onto heavy weight poster paper as standard, but other paper is available including:

– satin finish photo paper for photographic use

–?canvas (useful for overseas travel)

– exhibition vinyl

Supplying your files

1.Design your poster

Set the file up to be the size you want it to be printed.
Images should be at least 72dpi at this size.
Save the file as a PDF and double check it.

2. Ordering your poster printing by emailing print@soton.ac.uk

Your name and email address
Dimensions of the finished poster
Material type
The date required (Posters take at least 2 working days and will be ready by 4pm on the date requested)
Your payment method. Payment can be made in the following ways:
- With a University sub project code.
- By Debit or Credit Card online.
Attach your PDF file. If it is too large to send by email then you can send it through drop off services such as safesend.soton.ac.uk.

3. Collect your poster

Mon to Thurs 9.00am – 12.30pm and 1:30pm – 4:30pm
