Foundation year entry requirements
| International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) | Secondary Education Certificate, achieving an overall average of 85% with at least 85% in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course |
| Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science and geophysics) | Secondary Education Certificate, achieving an overall average of 85% with at least 85% in maths |
| Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses) |
Secondary Education Certificate, achieving an overall average of 85% with at least 85% in maths and a science subject Please note that this course does not progress to an undergraduate degree in medicine. |
Undergraduate entry requirements
To be considered for?a place on?one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:
| Good grades in the Secondary Education Certificate and successful completion of a recognised foundation programme |
| Successful completion of at least one year of university study in Libya |
| High grades in UK A levels |
| Between 28 and 38 points in the International Baccalaureate (IB), depending on the programme applied for |
Postgraduate entry requirements
| Masters?programmes | Bachelors degree awarded by a recognised institution with high grades (usually at least 3.50 out of 4) |
| PhD programmes | Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university,?and a strong research proposal |
English language entry requirements
