This information is for?general guidance?only; entry requirements vary for different courses.?For more specific details, please visit the relevant course web page or contact the admissions office for your chosen subject area .

Foundation year entry requirements

International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Tawjahiya), achieving an average of 85% with a minimum of 85% in subjects relevant to your chosen undergraduate course
Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science and geophysics) Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Tawjahiya), achieving an average of 85% with a minimum of 85% in Maths and Physics.
Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses) Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Tawjahiya), achieving an average of 85% with a minimum of 85% in subjects relevant to your chosen undergraduate course

Please note that this course does not progress to an undergraduate degree in medicine.

Undergraduate entry requirements

To be considered for?a place on?one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:

UK A levels
Between 28 and 38 points in the International Baccalaureate (IB)
Recognised foundation courses taken in the UK, Australia and Canada

Postgraduate entry requirements

Masters?programmes

Bachelors degree awarded by a recognised institution achieving GPA 3.0-3.64 out of 4.0, or between 76% and 83.9% (UK 2:1 equivalent)

Students who have achieved a GPA 2.80 out of 4.0 with 2 years' work experience may be considered

PhD programmes Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university,?and a strong research proposal

English language entry requirements
