Foundation year entry requirements
| International Foundation Year ? (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) | School final grade of 8 out of 10 overall |
| Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics and geophysics) | School final grade of 8 out of 10 overall plus State exams: 1 subject grade 80% and 2 other subjects grade 70%. |
| Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses) |
School final grade of 8 out of 10 overall with 8 out of 10 in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course

Undergraduate entry requirements
To be considered for?a place on?one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:
| UK A levels with grades from BBB to A*AA |
| International Baccalaureate (IB) with grades from 30 to 38 |
| Atestāts par vispārējo vidējo izglītību?with overall grade 8 - 9 in school exams plus 65% overall in state exam. Some undergraduate courses may request grades A - B or 70 - 85% in state exams for relevant subjects |
Postgraduate entry requirements
| Masters?programmes | Magistra awarded before 2001 or Bakalaura?started from 2003 onwards with a minimum overall grade of 7 or B |
| PhD programmes | Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university,?and a strong research proposal |
