Student parking permits

To apply for a parking permit you must first be registered as a University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 student and have a student ID and email account. If you do not have an account you can apply for one on Subscribe.?

Undergraduate students are not eligible for a parking permit unless they meet one of the following criteria:

  • They are registered with Student Disability and Inclusion because of an evidenced medical condition and they have confirmed their support for a parking permit to be issued;?
  • They participate in elite (national) level sport. Supporting letters from the relevant national governing body will be required as evidence;
  • They are required to travel between University-provided 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 to a work placement outside of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载, where no other mode of transport is suitable;
  • They are faced with extenuating circumstances, such as they are the registered carer of a family member. Supporting information will be required at the time of application.

Postgraduate students and other students commuting from outside of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 whom are not eligible to apply for a permit to park on an academic site may apply for a permit to park at our offsite Montefiore Non-Residents Car Park, at Wessex Lane Halls of Residence, SO18 2NU. There is a regular Unilink bus service from Wessex Lane to Highfield, Avenue and Boldrewood Campuses. Alternatively, Highfield Campus is a 15-20 minute walk.?

If you do not have a parking permit for academic sites you are not authorised to park onsite, unless it is in the Pay and Display car park on Highfield Campus and displaying a ticket from one of the machines provided.?

Students seeking a permit to park at the Waterfront Campus should apply at the NOCS Helpdesk (tel. 023 80596666) or send an email to facilities@noc.ac.uk.??

Motorcycle parking

You do not need a permit to park a motorcycle or scooter but it must not be parked in?a?marked car parking space or?parked?within a pedestrianised area or within close proximity to a building?entrance or exit.

Park and Ride

Winchester is well served by Park & Ride schemes and you can find out details on the Winchester Park & Ride Website .
