Eligibility
To get this scholarship, you must:
- have a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible course
- be an international student paying the overseas fee

Two scholarships of ?5,000 are available to international students studying for an eligible master’s degree at the Department of Social Statistics and Demography (please see the list of eligible courses below).

How to apply
This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful.?
To apply for this course:
- complete the online application form
- include a 500-word statement on why you should get the scholarship
- attach your CV to the application
- submit your application by 29 May 2026, 5pm (UK time)
Successful applicants will be contacted by 26 June 2026. You will receive an email with a letter attached. If you are unsuccessful we will let you know after 2 July 2026.
We cannot accept late applications. The application form will be published soon. Please check back shortly.
How we award scholarships
There are 2 stages to the shortlisting process:
- we check that you meet the eligibility criteria
- a selection panel assesses your CV, PGT application, and 500-word supporting statement on why you should receive a scholarship
The top 2 applications will get the scholarship. The decision of the scholarship panel is final.
