The Quality, Standards and Accreditation Team (QSAT) and Curriculum and Quality Assurance (CQA) teams provide specialist knowledge and understanding of the policy, processes and procedures for the assurance of a high quality education for students at the University.

Quality, Standards and Accreditation Team (QSAT)

Working with colleagues from across the University community, the team's roles include:

• Maintaining and updating the Quality Handbook, which contains the University's Quality, Monitoring and Enhancement Framework.
• Ensuring that University practice aligns with best practice and developments nationally.
• Supporting regulation and policy development and monitoring its implementation.
• Providing advice on quality assurance and enhancement policies and procedures both internal to the University and those of external bodies.
• Maintaining and updating the University's Complaints and Appeals policies and procedures, providing advice and guidance on all aspects of these
• Supporting the work of the Education and Student Experience Committee and its subcommittees.

Faculty Curriculum and Quality Assurance Teams

Curriculum and Quality Assurance teams at Faculty level, support Schools in the preparation for the approval and review of taught programmes, changes to programmes and programme closures, external examiner appointments, student communications and representation, professional, statutory and regulatory body (PSRB) monitoring, and the implementation of academic regulations and processes. The team also supports the Faculty student complaints, academic appeals, academic integrity and fitness to practice processes.
