Professor Grant Hillier is Professor of Econometrics within Economics at the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载. Grant is responsible for Senior Recruitment.
He is currently a Fellow of CeMMAP (The Centre for Microdata Methods and Practice) – the world-leading research centre for Microeconometrics.
Grant’s research focuses on areas such as Inference in structural models, theory of hypothesis testing, multivariate models and hypothesis testing in finance. Grant’s most recent research explores the properties of Wishart matrices.
Grant was born in Adelaide, South Australia, where he undertook his first degree. Having been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, Grant undertook his doctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania in the USA. Grant received the esteemed Econometric Theory Plura Scripsit Award in 2008 and was Associate Editor of Econometric Theory between 1987-2012.
