Xiaohan is a Postgraduate Researcher based in Business School at the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载. She has an academic background in MSc Risk and Finance and a Bachelor of Accounting. Her PhD research focuses on ESG and Long-memory. Xiaohan has also achieved the status of Associate Fellow (AFHEA).
Xiaohan’s current research focuses on the effects of ESG risks on optimal portfolios of various stocks with "green" vs "gray" indices. Such research topics are built in the context of choice under uncertainty. With the development of the economy and the restructuring of the economy, the financial sector is indeed undergoing continuous transformation and innovation. At the core of innovation is the so-called "creative destruction", especially in the case of financial innovation, which is fraught with a huge asymmetry between risks and benefits. In other words, financial innovation and financial risk are always twins, and Xiaohan's research aims to provide empirical evidence on the impact and role of financial innovation and financial risk using economic modellings. It contributes in how financial innovation can support economic innovation and achieve sustainable growth. Empirically, Xiaohan is also estimating the efficiency of different stock markets under ESG risk using Long-memory models.
Before joining as a postgraduate researcher, Xiaohan studied MSc Risk and Finance at the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载, where she obtained her Masters degree.
Prior to joining the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载, Xiaohan obtained her Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance from Plymouth University.
