Jiayang Liu is a postgraduate researcher at the Business School of University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载. Jiayang Liu's main research interests are in the use of mathematical and statistical methods to analyse the causes of systemic risk, its propagation in financial networks, and the modelling of financial networks. He places great emphasis on the application of statistical and mathematical techniques to finance.
Jiayang Liu is now working on causation studies, statistical analysis and mathematical modelling of the factors that may affect the intensity of systemic risk in different dimensions. The project title is Triggering and Transmission of systemic crises in the Financial System & Data analysis on factors determining the degree of vulnerability of financial networks to systemic risk. My first supervisor is Dr Giota Papadimitri and my two second supervisors are Dr Abhishek Kumar and Dr Renatas Kizys. The date Jiayang started is 25 September 2023.

In 2018, Jiayang Liu enrolled in the undergraduate course in Mathematics and Statistics in the Department of Statistics, part of the School of Mathematics at the University of Warwick. In 2020, Jiayang Liu was approved by the Department of Statistics at the University of Warwick to transfer to the integrated masters programme in Mathematics and Statistics. In 2021, Jiayang Liu took an absence from his studies for physical reasons for a year. In 2023, Jiayang Liu was awarded the Bachelor of Science, Master of Mathematics and Statistics (with Honours) at the University of Warwick.
