I teach modules across all student levels at the University, including Systems Design and Computing, Advanced Sensors and Condition Monitoring, and Introduction to Advanced Mechanical Engineering Science. I supervise both individual and group design projects and am particularly enthusiastic about incorporating my research and industry experience in medical devices into my teaching.
Dr. Jinghua Tang is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He graduated with First-Class Honors in BEng and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol (2009–2013). He obtained his PhD from the University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 in 2018, focusing on socket interface biomechanics for lower limb amputees. Following his PhD, he has conducted cutting-edge interdisciplinary research across interface sensors, functional materials, musculoskeletal biomechanics, and assistive technologies, with support from EPSRC, MRC, Innovate UK, and NIHR.
