Anyone, of any nationality, aged 18 or over when travelling for their Summer School course and who is at least in the first year of their Undergraduate degree can attend.
Q:?Are the courses credit-bearing??
No. At the end of your course you will receive an official certificate of attendance.
Q:?Can I choose multiple courses??
Yes. Just make sure the dates do not conflict. For example, the following choices would be fine:?

Q:?Do I need to have a high GPA to be accepted??

Accommodation is offered at an extra cost, but you can choose to stay elsewhere during your course.?

Q:?Is there any funding or a scholarship available??
Unfortunately, there are no funding or scholarship options for this programme that we can offer.??
Q:?I’m in my first year of my undergraduate degree, can I attend and what documents do I need to send??
You can attend as a first-year undergraduate student. If you do not have a transcript with your grades available yet, please send us an official letter from your university to confirm your enrolment on your current programme.?
Q:?My course is taught in English, do I need to send a certificate of English proficiency??
If we can confirm that your current course is taught in English through your transcript or another form of proof from your institution, you won’t need to send us any further proof of your English proficiency.?
Q:?What happens after I apply??
You will receive an automatic email to confirm you have submitted your application. This email will give more information on the required supporting documentation. You should send this documentation to summer@soton.ac.uk as soon as possible. Once you have received your offer letter, please read it carefully and let us know if would like to accept the offer by the deadline stated in the letter, which will be 30 days after you received the offer letter?
Q:?If I accept my offer, when do I have to pay??
You will have to pay your course fees in full within 28 days of accepting your offer. This deadline will be confirmed by email once you have officially accepted.?
