Research and Innovation Services (RIS) is the technology transfer arm of the University. RIS promotes and supports the transfer of University expertise and knowledge into industry and other external organisations.
The RIS Current Funding Opportunities webpage highlights some of larger open calls which are available but there are many other sources of information?– both directly from the funders and from other research fund databases.

Research Excellence Framework (REF) results
The Research Excellence Framework is an independent body for measuring the quality of research in UK higher education institutions. The results of this framework play a large role in determining who should win certain grants and awards in order to maximise the potential for breakthroughs and innovations from investment.
