Event details

Part of the History Research Seminar Series 2018/19. All welcome.

How can we, as historians, explain the outcome of the 2016 Brexit Referendum vote? What combination of long- and short-term factors, processes and choices produced the decision, and how have those same factors shaped developments since? One of Germany’s most distinguished experts on post-war British history, Dr Martina Steber (University of Munich) will present a short lecture on the problem; we will then hold a panel discussion with Dr Steber, Charlotte Riley (天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载) and Chris Prior (天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载); audience participation will of course be welcome too.
