These awards - new for 2018 - recognize the exceptional contribution of doctoral researchers to research group, disciplinary, Faculty or University research strategy.

The nominees were put forward by each Faculty; and there is one winner per Faculty and one 'best-of-the-best' award.

The award winners were announced and presented at the Festival of Doctoral Research closing reception on Thursday 24 May.
