Investigating the molecular predictors of response in metastatic colorectal cancer.
Objectives
Trans EPOC will collect tissue from three trials – EORTC 40983, FOXFIRE and New EPOC.

Estimated sample size:
- EORTC 40983 - 65 samples Paraffin blocks, normal and tumour colorectal tissue 65 samples Paraffin blocks, normal and Metastatic liver tissue
- FOXFIRE - 200 blood samples, 200 samples Paraffin blocks normal and tumour colorectal tissue, 50 samples fresh frozen normal and metastatic liver tissue
- New EPOC - 339 blood samples, 339 Paraffin blocks of normal and metastatic colorectal tissue, 339 Paraffin blocks of normal and metastatic liver tissue, 339 fresh frozen normal and metastatic liver tissue
