This programme prepares you for roles in management or finance with an emphasis on strategic management decisions and good business governance aligned with UN sustainable development goals.
You'll learn about core accounting operation contexts, practices of accounting alongside specialist areas of management:

Throughout the course you'll have opportunities to develop business skills that will prepare you to enter the industry and ultimately lead organisations in the future.
Year 1 overview
In your first year you'll gain introductory knowledge on management, commercial law, economics, marketing and accounting. You'll be able to take an optional module in either foundations of business analytics or management analysis.
Year 2 overview
In this year you'll gain more in-depth knowledge on financial accounting and management, taxation and audits and take a critical approach to organisation and management. You can also choose to explore topics such as sustainability and human resources.
You'll have a variety of choice from optional modules in both semester 1 and 2 depending on the skills you want to develop. You can take 1 optional module per semester.
Year 3 overview
This is your paid industry placement year. You'll spend a minimum of 32 weeks working in a real business. You'll learn new skills, apply the knowledge you've already acquired, and gain work experience that will boost your future career.
Year 4 overview
In this year you will complete a final research project alongside a broad range of advanced modules and a choice of 1 optional module each semester.
