Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise organises many events throughout the year which are designed to assist you with your career planning, whether you're a student or a graduate.? These events?are either delivered by members of the careers team or graduate employers.

Why attend Careers Fairs and Employer Events?

• Gain valuable?insight into potential career areas and?sectors.
• Increase?confidence when making applications and help yourself stand out from the rest.
• It is a great chance to ask questions 121 and in group settings.
• Developing?understanding of the skills and competencies employers are looking for in their recruitment processes.
• Sector specific events help give real, personal insight into industries of interest and provide the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
• It is never too early to think about work experience or graduate roles; employers at fairs often have either or both.

Prepare for the Fair

To help you in your preparation for the Fairs and Employer events, Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise run a series of Design Your Future Workshops such as "Explore...CVs" and "Stand out! How to identify your skills and stand out to employers". Make sure to book your space via MyCareer .
