UoS Internships

Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise provides specialist support to organisations looking to recruit students for internship projects throughout the year. UoS Internships are available to UK-based employers including SMEs, start-ups, large graduate recruiters and third sector organisations.

Internships facilitate the opportunity for businesses to recruit students to get involved in a meaningful project and gain valuable work experience, whilst bringing creativity and productivity to host organisations. 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 dedicated Employer Engagement team will support you throughout the recruitment process and beyond.

We work?with organisations of various sizes, so whether you’re a small start-up looking to hire your first intern, a?charity requiring extra resource, or a seasoned graduate recruiter, we have the expertise to guide and support you through the process.

Below are the criteria for an internship to be eligible for the programme:

  • UoS Internships must be a minimum duration of 2 weeks / 70 hours
  • All UoS Internships must be exclusive to University of 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 students
  • Internships must be based in the UK
  • Organisations must have Employer Liability and Public Liability Insurance with cover of ?5,000,000
  • The internship needs to provide a meaningful project, giving real value to a host organisation and allowing students a focus to develop their skills
  • We expect all employers to pay a minimum hourly rate for an intern in line with the Real Living Wage
  • Interns must have access to a Line Manager or a point of contact throughout the internship
  • You must complete an Internship Agreement before the internship commences
