Fridge-free vaccine study

Future vaccines that can be stored at room temperature will help global health and the NHS.

Are you aged 18-55 and in good health? Get in touch to receive more information about a new tetanus-diphtheria vaccine study.

Help develop a multi-cancer detection blood test

If you are aged 18+ and have no history of cancer, you could help develop a new blood test.

The MODERNISED study, led by the University’s Professor Andy Davies, aims to develop a blood test to detect 10 types of cancer at its early stages, by measuring the body’s immune response to cancer development.

100 healthy volunteers are needed as control samples. To find out more and take part, please contact Beth Wedge at modernisedHV@uhs.nhs.uk.
