On Sunday 29 June,? from 11:00-16:00, come to Turner Sims for a day of magical musical activities and events for children of all ages and their grown-ups. Summer Family Day 2025 will get the whole family involved with performances, workshops, music, dance, craft, face-painting – and of course the chance to make lots of noise.

We’re presenting two fabulous shows in our main hall with all tickets just ?5 each:

• The Sleeping Seeds is a treat for children aged 2+ and their adults and is British Sign Language interpreted. Enjoy a playful music theatre show as two musical gardeners go on an adventure to raise a seedling and raise a racket.
• Experience a spellbinding world of theatre, music, and puppetry, as Little Seeds Music present Tales from the Lighthouse. This is a captivating show full of myths, magic, music and folklore for all the family to enjoy.

There are also lots of free drop-in activities which don’t require bookings.

Join Yes! Creative Beats for a Music Making Workshop, or come and watch Early Weaves by Ascension Dance, an introduction to dance theatre using movement and props made almost entirely from willow. Don’t forget to check out the local talent performing on our Community Stage, presented by 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 and Isle of Wight Music Hub. If that’s not enough to keep you entertained, there’s craft activities and face painting all day in the Turner Sims Foyer – just bring your creativity.

Make a day of it by bringing a picnic and sitting out on the grounds, or grab a treat from the local food stalls. The Turner Sims bar will be open all day, with a great selection of hot and cold drinks – and ice cream.
