Please be aware that the road between B37 and the Early Years Centre will be closed for three days from Tuesday 20 May.

This closure follows a water leak that occurred at the end of April. Since then, our Estates & Facilities (E&F) team has been working hard not only to repair the damage but also to take this opportunity to make lasting improvements to the area.

While the leak itself has been fixed, damage to the road surface means it now needs to be completely re-laid. During this time, the E&F team will also:

• Lay a new water pipe to improve the local supply
• Completely resurface the full stretch of road
• Install a raised pedestrian crossing between B37 and the Early Years Centre

These works will enhance the appearance of the area, increase safety and accessibility for pedestrians, and strengthen the infrastructure to help prevent future issues.

During this time parking will not be available in this area. The Early Years Centre will be in touch with parents and carers directly to discuss alternative provisions during this time.
