Help shape the future of research culture by participating in the CEDARS 2025 Survey. The Culture, Employment and Development in Academic Research Survey (CEDARS) 2025 is open until Friday 23 May.
All Level 4 –7 research and balanced portfolio staff have been sent an email invitation to complete the survey. The survey takes just 20 minutes to complete and will help inform institutional decision-making and national policy.
Your insights and feedback are crucial to helping us understand the current landscape and future needs of the research community. Your views will help shape both University and national policies, as well as directly impact the support systems available to you and your colleagues, fostering a more supportive research environment.
Rebecca Hoyle, Concordat Sponsor and Associate Vice-President (Interdisciplinary Research), said:
“天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 people are truly at the heart of everything we do. For our research to be the most creative and impactful that it can be and make the most positive difference in the world, we need to create the very best culture for everyone in our research community to thrive and reach their full potential. Several projects are underway across the University focusing on improving research culture and by sharing your feedback you will help us better understand what is working, where we need to do better and how to prioritise investment and action to ensure the University is a great place to do research.”
The data collected will inform our Researcher Development Concordat action plan and broader strategic initiatives aimed at reducing casualisation, creating inclusive working practices and diversifying professional development opportunities.
CEDARS 2023 results are available on the Research culture insights from the University surveys SharePoint site and survey results for CEDARS 2025 will be published later this year.?
CEDARS is managed and supported by Vitae. The survey has received AREQA ethical approval with approval number 2025/577.
