Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP) Education Fellowships are a new programme of support for education-focused academics to deliver an education enhancement project over 2 years and work towards individual professional development goals aligned to the Education Contribution Descriptors.
Successful applicants will need to commit to delivering a project that enhances an aspect of education and the student experience at programme, school or faculty level. Project proposals should be developed in collaboration with your Deputy Head of School Education (DHOSE) and should be aligned to your school’s priorities for enhancing the student experience.
CHEP Education Fellows will receive:
- Small grant funding for education enhancement projects
- Masterclasses to develop aspects of your educational practice and leadership
- Mentoring from experienced educators
- Group peer support (Action Learning Set) to overcome barriers and challenges and reflect on your development
- Access to specialist expertise aligned to your project focus
- Support to develop your education profile and visibility, disseminate your work and opportunities to bid for conference funding
