International Meet and Greet will be available for students arriving for Semester 1 in September 2023, at both Heathrow and Gatwick airports, to help direct students towards onward public transport and answer any questions.? This event provides staff at the University with an opportunity to showcase our hospitality and contribute to a positive starting point for the newest members of our 天发娱乐棋牌_天发娱乐APP-官网|下载 community.
We are currently looking for volunteers across the University to support this key event. Shifts are between 7 and 8 hours each and travel to and from both airports via either coach or train from Highfield interchange is prearranged for all staff volunteers. Additionally, training will be provided to all who sign up to participate.
Volunteers for Meet and Greet will support Student Ambassadors with signposting at the airports and directing students who registered for the service to our coaches. Subsistence payments will be made to all volunteers in accordance with university policy. If you regularly catch?public transport and your shift does not make that possible, or if you return after dark, the International Office will also pay for a taxi between Highfield campus and your home.
