The University Library offers a one-to-one?Deskside Training service for staff and research postgraduates only.

We aim to provide training and guidance in the use of?e-journals, e-books, bibliographic databases and many of the?information resources available on the web – all at a time and place?convenient to you.? Typically we can spend from ten minutes up to one?hour in a session.

We recognise that researchers need access to a wide range of online?resources, many of which are provided by the Library – yet?researchers are also extremely busy, so finding the time to get?advanced training in everything that the Library has to offer can be?difficult.
