Two years after construction commenced? the Life Sciences building is almost ready for occupation. A striking addition to the Highfield campus? the building will be accessed from Library Square via a route combining hard and soft landscaping.

On 21 July? Biological Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine’s student administration office and Medical Education Unit will move into the building over a 10 week period. During this time access to the building will be restricted to its new occupants.

From late September the building will be operational and the public areas on Level 2 will be accessible to everyone in the University. These include a learning zone with four Common Learning Spaces (CLS) teaching rooms, an i-café and break-out space with WiFi access, together with a Lattes grab-and-go café.
