This essential work means the majority of staff will not be able to use?their computers at all during the working day? and will also not be able to access files or email remotely. If you have not already made arrangements for this day? please plan your workload and time accordingly? in conjunction with your line manager.
Students will be able to use public workstations until 6pm on Friday 18 December? but not after this time, for the remainder of that evening.
Additionally? on Monday 21 December members of staff will not be able to log on to their computers until 9am and there is a risk of interruption throughout the day.
This is part of a programme of major maintenance work affecting all University IT services being undertaken by iSolutions from 16 to 21 December.
iSolutions is aware that this work will have a major impact on University activities and apologises in advance for the inconvenience.
